ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Since 2001, M&R Solutions has helped develop novel, environmentally-friendly infrastructure globally. With an emphasis on sustainable development, M&R prides itself on its innovative solutions to sectoral challenges in waste management, construction, and agriculture.
As part of our commitment to sustainable development, we have invested over $12 million into the development of critical waste management infrastructure for developing countries. Once case in point is that of Afghanistan; M&R Solutions is responsible for many of Afghanistan’s developmental milestones, including the construction of Afghanistan’s first sanitary landfill; the first all-natural wastewater treatment plant using Bio-dome technology; the first industrial composting plant; and the proliferation of recycling and sorting centers in five regions of Afghanistan.
Quality With Dedication
M&R provides collection, transport, storage, treatment and processing of solid and hazardous waste. Waste Management is a comprehensive approach to handling, collecting, transporting, processing, recycling, and disposing of waste materials in an environmentally responsible manner, aiming to minimize its impact on health, society, and the planet.
M&R works with community groups such as the Afghan Women’s Environmental Association (AWEA) to grow organic fruits and vegetables in gardens throughout Kabul. These services focus on recycling, composting, and converting agricultural waste into valuable resources. M&R is an expert in the field of greenhouse design and construction.
M&R sponsors the AWEA, which works to empower Afghan widows of violence by providing sustainable, agricultural opportunities. Using – you guessed it – recycled materials, M&R took a day off to renovate Jan Kadam Middle School. Paper waste taken from M&R facilities was processed by the AWEA and made into paper briquettes.
